We are the Wimbledon and District Branch of the RSPCA (a separately registered charity that follows RSPCA policies and guidelines). Our branch is run by a Committee of Volunteers and receives no government or lottery funding, meaning we rely totally on Donations, Local Fundraising and Legacies to support less fortunate animals in our area. We rescue and re-home animals in the Wimbledon and surrounding areas and offer reduced neutering and microchipping services for Wandsworth and Merton residents on low incomes or benefits. Alongside that also we have two charity shops selling a wide range of items and are always looking for volunteers to help us help even more animals from suffering. We provide the following; - Rehoming of cats and we have links to our local animal centres and other animal establishments. NOTE: if you wish to provide a loving and secure home to an animal or alternatively wish to discuss an animal that needs rehoming please see the Rehoming page on this web site for further information.
- Community Animal Action Events in conjunction with local RSPCA Inspectors and vets. These include initiatives such as subsidised microchipping, neutering, worm and flea treatments.
- Pet Neutering Scheme (in association with local vets) for people on government benefits or low income.
- Fundraising events for the local area.
- Home visits for the Wimbledon and District RSPCA Branch and RSPCA animal centres.
- Pet advice and guidance for local people.
- Please see the contacts page for our full contact details.
